Should grass remains be collected or not?
As long as the grass is cut as many times as necessary and the rule of 1/3 is respected, the remains of grass will not take long to incorporate into the ground and it will not be necessary to clean them up. Grass clippings decompose quickly (75 to 80 percent water content) and produce no plant residue. Since grass clippings also recycle nutrients, mainly nitrogen, the need to apply fertilizers is reduced.
